Hips and elbows are guaranteed to OFA Prelim Excellent, Good or Fair by 24 months of age provided the following conditions are met: a) The pup must be x-rayed and submitted to OFA for evaluation by 24 months of age. b) May be x-rayed and submitted to OFA for prelim evaluation before 24 months of age, but no earlier than 18 months of age. If OFA rating is acceptable (excellent, good, or fair), full registration can be attained. If OFA is not acceptable, dog must be re-x-rayed at 24-26 months of age and resubmitted to OFA for evaluation before the contract is honored. c) The dog has not been abused or involved in any type of accident where bones are broken or bruised. d) The dog has been properly nourished and exercised. e) The dog must NOT be bred. f) The dog must be kept thin and not overweight. g) The kennel has been provided with a veterinarian report of medical history and the OFA report.

Steinbach German Shepherd Dogs are whelped in our home and
raised as part of our family. Beginning with the puppies first meal
of fresh goat's milk and raw chicken, beef and vegetables, we strive
to raise our puppies as naturally as possible. The puppies are examined
by a licensed veterinarian and are certified as healthy prior to traveling
to their new homes. We encourage you to take your new puppy to a veterinarian
of your choosing within 5 days of receipt of your puppy. If the veterinarian
finds the dog to have any disease or congenital defect, the puppy may
be returned at the buyer's expense accompanied by a written report by
the veterinarian documenting such disease, and receive a replacement
GSD of equal value when such dog becomes available.
